Justin Theroux has opened up about his relationship with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, saying that he still feels "protective" over her.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Theroux said that he and Aniston have remained close friends since their divorce. "We talk all the time," he said. "We e-mail. We text.
Theroux also said that he still has a lot of love for Aniston. "She's an amazing person," he said. "She's one of my best friends. I cherish our friendship."
Theroux's comments come just days after Aniston announced her engagement to actor Jason Sudeikis.
Theroux and Aniston were married for two years before announcing their separation in 2017.
